After more than three decades struggling with weight and body shame, I was diagnosed with lipedema, lymphedema, and venous insufficiency in March 2020. It was one part chance encounter with a vein specialist and one big push from the universe. Learning to trust myself and my body was the first step on my journey of discovery and healing.
Sturdy Woman is the love letter I’ve always wanted from life… and am finally able to write myself. Let’s dance, cook, and explore our way to the lives we’ve always deserved, with or without chronic disease!
